1. Subscriptions

  • Billing is recurring on a monthly basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
  • A valid payment method is required
  • Users can cancel through account settings or customer support

2. Free Trial

  • 7-day free trial with 100 total images (20 per day limit)
  • No credit card required for free trial
  • After trial ends or 100 images used, upgrade to Pro or Agency required
  • No automatic charging – upgrade when you’re ready

3. Service Usage

3.1 Account Creation

  • Users are responsible for account confidentiality
  • Accept responsibility for all account activities

3.2 Acceptable Use

Prohibited actions include:

  • Violating laws or regulations
  • Sending unsolicited advertising
  • Impersonating others
  • Restricting other users’ service enjoyment
  • Attempting to circumvent usage limits

4. Platform-Specific Features

4.1 Auto-Apply Functionality

Currently Supported Platforms:

  • WordPress: Auto-fills Title, Caption, Description, and Alt Text fields

Important Limitations:

  • Auto-apply ONLY works on supported platforms
  • Platform detection is based on URL patterns and DOM structure
  • Attempting to use auto-apply on unsupported sites will show a notification
  • No API calls are made for unsupported platforms

4.2 Platform Changes Disclaimer

We cannot guarantee continuous compatibility with third-party platforms. Platform updates, interface changes, or structural modifications may affect the auto-apply functionality. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot be held liable for disruptions caused by third-party changes.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Service and content are exclusive property of QuickAltText
  • Protected by copyright and trademark laws
  • Trademarks cannot be used without prior consent

6. Generated Content

  • Alt text is generated “as is” without guarantees
  • Users are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content

7. AI Model Caching Disclosure

While QuickAltText does not cache generated alt text (ensuring fresh generation with every request), the underlying AI models we use through OpenRouter may have their own caching mechanisms that are outside of our control.

This means:

  • You might occasionally receive similar responses for identical images
  • AI providers may cache responses at their infrastructure level
  • We cannot guarantee completely unique responses if the AI model implements caching
  • Our “no caching” commitment applies only to our extension and services
